Ribbon Hero 2 is Out!

This is Clippy’s second chance! Popular Office learning game is back teaching the player (and the Office 2010 user) exciting new features in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote.

This is not usual Flash, Java or Silverlight game but the player is using Office applications instead to progress through interesting game levels. Completing the tasks player has to earn point to move to the next, higher levels, where he can expect more advanced tasks.

The game integrates itself in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote as an add-in and after installation you test your Office 2010 skills by pressing the button on the Ribbon Hero 2 button on the right of the ribbon.

The button shows the points you have earned and the level achieved. You can start and stop the game anytime you want, to brush up your skills because the best way to learn something is by doing it. Hints are available if you get stuck but you don’t get extra points if you peek at help.

System Requirements for installing and running Ribbon Hero 2 are Vista or Windows 7 (32/64 bit) or XP (32 bit), Office 2007 or Office 2010 (32/64 bit).

There are some Limitations though: it supports English versions only, it works with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote and does not support versions of Office earlier than Office 2007.
